Wolfe's Neck 2

just finished a few new pastels, love this low tide view near Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport, Maine. This piece is done on Ersta sanded paper with a magenta pastel under painting. I have been exploring under painting in pastel and then using a coat of Spectrafix. It seems to be working...some of the pastel picks up with the next layer, but I like that. Not fixing the finished piece. Still love my Grumbacher pastels the best, then Terry Ludwig and just discovering Mount Vision.
