Thank you to my collectors and North Light Gallery! Painted this mini 5 x 5 last year on May 2! Still lots of snow on Katahdin, although I could see it melting as I was painting. I was lucky to have a week to paint at the end of April with warm weather before the black flies emerged, it was heaven! Painted on one of the pull outs on the Baxter State Park Road. Plein air painting is exciting and fun and paintings are reminders of times and places and memories of loved ones...
