Togue Pond Beach

Last day of this trip to the Katahdin area was a rainy, cloudy one.  Took the chance to paint at Togue Pond Beach.  Fifty degrees with a strong wind off the water, I had four layers on and a hat and gloves and I was still cold!  Then I took some time to hike to Sandy Stream Pond, no moose.  Wildlife sightings this trip: pheasant, turkey, many birds and bugs, caterpillars, baby turtles hatching, red squirrels.  All Katahdin paintings available through Northlight Gallery, Millinocket, Maine.
