Katahdin Lake 09-1

Impromptu show of my Katahdin area paintings at Eastern Mountain Sports April 8-13 on loan from North Light Gallery in Millinocket, Maine.  North Light exclusively represents my interior Maine work, twenty two paintings at EMS, hope you can stop by to see them, lot's of great gear for adventurous plein air painters too!  Maybe a new painting hat for this summer...

This one is a favorite painting of the last light of the day in my fall 2009 trip to Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps.  The mountain turned golden yellow in the diffused evening light.
