Really fun painting large again, this 40" x 60" diptych is for ALL ABOUT COLOR: Painters Caren-Marie Michel and Marsha Donahue at North Light Gallery in Millinocket, Maine. Love the whole body physical motion of painting large, bis strokes, lots of color. The show is through September 11 and the reception is August 14, 11am-5pm, tomorrow is a great day to take a trip to Millinocket and Katahdin! The Gallery shows the work of artists of interior Maine, Baxter Park, Katahdin, Katahdin Lake. I especially like to paint from the Wilderness Camps on Katahdin Lake, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on the earth.
