Heading to Art House Picture Frames with this new one in the Painting Edges series. Each strip represents the edge of a finished acrylic on canvas painting. I only do this for work that I paint in the studio, this has been a slow one since most of my painting is done plein air these days. Maybe I will start doing this for all my paintings...I like these as an abstract response to the landscape, and each one seems to create a new landscape in itself. They certainly documents my work over time. This piece will be shown at Saccarappa Art Collective in our upcoming show that opens on January 18, with Susan Orphant as guest artist.
