Perfect late August summer day to paint on the marsh in Scarborough! I found a spot in the shade of a tree along the Eastern Trail, about five degrees cooler than in the open sun and better for my acrylic palette. The marsh is starting to take on the colors of early fall, my favorite time. Lots of people enjoy this trail for walking, biking and painting...I was painting with a friend today. She found another spot further down the trail in the shade too. Lots of bird activity as the tide came in with enough breeze to keep me cool and to keep the bugs away.
