Corea and Schoodic Maine Painting Trip
I recently spent a week with my Wild Women Artist friends Marsha Donahue and Sandy Dolan at an ocean front cottage in the lovely Maine town of Corea. Corea is a fabulous place to explore and paint and also nearby Schoodic Peninsula. The lobster season was getting under way and the harbor was very busy. We made the most of each day, the weather was cool and windy, the view of Western Island from our cottage and the beach at our doorstep were amazing. We had one rainy day that we enjoyed shopping in Ellsworth and delicious lobsters at the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound. We were entertained at a lovely dinner for nine at the Littlefield Gallery in Winter Harbor by Jane and Kelly Littlefield. So much fun! Our friend Judy Taylor joined us. There is a wonderful gallery in Corea Chapter Two, not to be missed!
