30 Paintings in 30 Days Compass Pond 8

Met the Katahdin Plein Air Painters at the AT Cafe for breakfast, then there was a show and tell at North Light Gallery. Some beautiful work was done this weekend by 22 artists. Then I went out to paint along the Golden Road, it was nice and warm in the sun. Took a drive to Abol Bridge and just stood on the bridge enjoying the perfect view, the mountain was beautiful all day today. I decided to go to Togue Pond for a picnic lunch where it was quite chilly with a strong wind, but still the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time. No moose sightings yet, but I did see a very large owl in the Park and lots of ducks, birds and gray heron. Nine paintings done, three days left...yikes!
