30 Paintings in 30 Days Sandy Stream Pond 3 and By Togue Pond Gatehouse 3

Great day painting in Baxter Park for the Katahdin Plain Air paint out! It was a cool and gray sky day. I hiked into Sandy Stream Pond to paint this morning, no moose, but a beautiful view of Katahdin. Then I painted by the Togue Pond Gatehouse, one of my favorite spots. I saw turtles hatching here a few years back, right in the middle of the Tote Road! The fall colors are just starting here in the park, reds and oranges. Tonight will be in the 30's. Fall is here! I'm a little behind on the 30 paintings, 7 done, 5 days left....
