May Marathon Day 12

Day 12...painting up a storm today...here's two of seven paintings that I am trying to do today.  Some I started on other Marathon Days and now I am trying to pull them all together today, these two are new today.

This piece is from a photo that I took from the big log bridge while hiking in to Katahdin Lake for one of my fall painting trips .  A beautiful pause and little break along the 3.3 mile hike.  A hike that can seem very long depending on how much gear that I am carrying...
