Sold Scarborough Marsh 13 and Scarborough Marsh Moonlight

I have lots of favorite spots to paint, the marsh in Scarborough is one of them. The Libby River marsh is beautiful, frequently with Canada Geese enjoying the lush marsh grass.

I don't too often paint the moon, but we were driving by the marsh one night as the moon was rising over the Eastern Trail and Pine Point Beach and I remembered this scene and painted it as soon as I could. I usually paint on location or from my photos in the studio, this scene compelled me to paint it from memory. Both sold to a dear friend from my parochial school days!
