30 Paintings in 30 Days 18 and 19 Abol Falls and Doubletop from Barren Brook
Painted this morning with KPAP (Katahdin Plein Air Painters) at Abol Falls, Marsha Donahue, Suzanne Savage Brewer and Deb Grabber. We met at 7 am at the North Woods Trading Post and headed out to paint, a warm clear day with perfect views of Katahdin and fall foliage. We worked really hard! Then we had a quick lunch and off to the rest of our Sunday. I headed into Baxter Park and decided to paint another one of Doubletop from Barren Brook, the black flies were out in force at both spots! Had a great day of painting, nine paintings in three full days of painting! I am exhausted, lots of driving to get to all the sights on the Golden Rad and in the park.
